Solar Alegria is a captivating blend of two historic houses, dating back to 1856 and 1843, known as Solar Alegria and Casa do Amor. These remarkable structures have been meticulously renovated over the years, enhancing their historical charm and modern comforts. Tucked away at the end of a secluded road, our retreat offers unparalleled privacy, surrounded by abundant greenery and breathtaking views of the valley and river. The expansive fields around us change hues with the seasons, adding to the enchanting atmosphere.

A Love Story and a Passion for Hospitality

Acquired by Jenny and Hugo, a French and Portuguese couple, Solar Alegria was a love-at-first-sight discovery—a true “Coup de Coeur.” Ideally located near major cities such as Porto (1 hour away), Aveiro (25 minutes), and Viseu (40 minutes), our retreat strikes the perfect balance between relaxation and accessibility.

At Solar Alegria, we believe everyone deserves peace and happiness. Our little piece of heaven offers ample space and privacy, allowing guests to discover their own unique way to enjoy their stay.
