Positive & negative emotions are rooted in our evolution which functions as a filter that decodes the world. Each of them transits into two distinct neuron wiring.
The negative emotion associated with fear or anxiety engages in the “fight or flight” mode which favours aggressive responses while limiting cognitive performance and social interaction.
The positive emotion associated with pleasure promotes creativity, social bonding, and intellectual performance. The neurological centre triggered during the positive emotion stimulation is defined as Hedonic Centre.
From evolutionary perspective, these two immediate instinctive responses were advantageous for survival. However, in our modern world, an instinctive response that limits cognitive potential and social interaction is a limiting factor.
The venue is designed “as a safe place” to promote those positive responses and keep the energy up to boost performance and social bonding.

Each room is designed for maximum comfort and adapted to the all-year-round warm tropical climate: 13m2 surface with a high ceiling. Adjacent to each room the private bathroom of 6m2 ensures comfort and privacy.
The furniture reflects its origin, Africa, a few kilometers away from the island: bamboo lightening, sea-grass on the walls, tropical wood, straw lamps, etc. The furniture is hand-made, carved with simple (minimalistic) designs inspired from primitive tribal cultures that set the ambiance of a lodge.

110 m2 wooden deck sheltered by 200 m2 Greenhouse structure.
This tropical garden is organized to provide a natural air condition system. The plants facing the sea with dominant wind are planted in the ground. A flow of constant fresh air is ensured by green tropical vegetation associated with a specific water spray and ventilation window at the ground level. The fresh air crosses the deck space toward the stone wall heated by the sun on the opposite side.
The plants in the pot aligned along the stonewall compose the nursery area. Those plants will serve the future development of the property.
