The Turia park was the old river which has now been redirected and dried out. They turned it into a long meandering park perfect for running, cycling, yoga, sports, picnics, outdoor concerts and so much more. With incredible bridges that cross the park, you can get yourself lost in the trees, grass and solitude of this massive green space inside of a busy city. Right on your door step.

The city is small enough where if you like to walk you can easily get around the city, river and to the beach with in an hour or 2. If you have a bike or rent one for the day you can be having a coffee in the old town at 10am and be on the beach by 10:20am. The public transport is also very good with bus routes frequently connecting you with every part of the city and also the metro, tram line and trains which connect you with ease.

The summer heat with often bring temperatures of 30 degrees of higher and winter temps being around 14 degrees but can get as long as 8 on average.

Low Cost of Living

It is well known to people who live in Spain that for a city Valencia is must more affordable than Madrid or Valencia, with regards to, rent and general cost of living.
